Potential new lung cancer treatment

Research is continuing into potential new lung cancer treatment approaches. One of these is Immunotherapy. Immunotherapy is still in development, but could be a future new treatment option for lung cancer. It could potentially be used alone, or in combination with other forms of treatment.

Lung cancer immunotherapy

ASCI* (Antigen-Specific Cancer Immunotherapeutics) is a new form of immunotherapy. It is a potential new lung cancer treatment that uses your own immune system to target cancer cells.

Data from early clinical studies using an ASCI* for treatment of non-small cell lung cancer have led to the setting up of a large Phase III clinical study called MAGRIT. In the MAGRIT study, ASCI* is being investigated as a possible treatment for non-small cell lung cancer patients following an operation to remove their tumor. If you are interested in participating in MAGRIT, why not discuss it with your doctor? Click on the link on the right of this page to find out more.
