Stage 4 lung cancer
Stage 4 lung cancer* means that either :
- The cancer has spread to another lobe of the lung where it started (lobes are the sections within each lung) Or
- The cancer has spread outside the chest to another part of the body, such as the brain or the liver
Along with Stage 3B, Stage 4 lung cancer is classed as “advanced disease”.
